Om’kumoh is committed to the upliftment of Science and Technology in Namibia; hence since our establishment we have strived to support the Namibian government’s efforts in the attainment of critical skills for Namibian youth especially in the engineering field. In this regard, Om’kumoh has focused on three (3) areas supporting such efforts,
Firstly, these being through an internship and mentoring program, over 30 engineering students have gone through this internship program.
Furthermore, Om’kumoh has entered into a memorandum of Understanding with UNAM -Ongwediva to provide amongst others, internship opportunities to their students and exchange knowledge and skills.
Secondly through a bursary/ grant scheme, which has produced 5 graduates in several fields of study.

Thirdly, through a graduate training program, which aims to assist graduate to attain their professional registration as per Engineering Council of Namibia’s requirements. The following Namibians are serving/served internships towards gaining the necessary experience to attain professional status, namely:
Mwahafa Ngodji: Mechanical Engineering Student, Namibia University of Science and Technology-(NUST)
Sara Kahohoi: Mechanical Engineering Student, Namibia University of Science & Technology-(NUST)
LN Thomas – B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering (UCT)
In addition to the above commitments, Om’kumoh Consulting Engineers cc also strives to plough back into the immediate communities where we carry out projects. To this end, the company sponsored.
